Hi – I’m DJ YaBaby. My friends call me Dilpreet. I started my beat mixes way back in 2018, back in India. From a simple start of creating mix tapes for family and friends, I learned how to mix beats that make people want to dance. It was cool, but I wanted to experience the wider world, so I moved to Auckland New Zealand. Yeah Auckland, new friends, new cultures, good times. Meanwhile, my beats became more sophisticated and I wanted to explore more of my new home. Now I live in Wellington, the headquarters of the verb. It’s true. All kinds of things happen here – do-things, beat-things, fun-things, party-things, love-things. I play my beats and mixes across Wellington and up as far as the Kapiti Coast.
