Description

Gum (Eucalyptus) – harder (and heavier) than macrocarpa, and double the heat potential of pine. Long, slow (overnight) burn that’s fantastic for heating your home, or for fueling wood fired pizza ovens. Sourced from old isolated trees or mature shelter belts; increasingly from plantation forestry. Energy output approximately 8.5 MBTU’s (million of Btu’s) per stacked cubic metre (at 20% moisture content). Stock availability: good.
