Old Man Pine (Pinus radiata) is mature pine aged 30+. Seasoned and ready to burn. Old man pine is harder and has more resin than immature pine. It burns hotter, more akin to macrocarpa. Sourced from old isolated trees or mature shelter belts. Energy output approximately 4 MBTU’s (million of Btu’s) per stacked cubic metre (at 20% moisture content).
